For example, an AD may agree to open 5 units over a five-year period in a specified territory. The rights for the Development of the assigned territory will be solely granted to the Area Developer. <strong>Multi-Unit Franchise:</strong> Multi-unit franchising creates the opportunity for a franchisee to open more than one unit in any territory however the territory in grand is still open to other franchising opportunities. <strong>Single Unit Franchise:</strong> a single unit franchisee under a single unit franchise agreement has the right to open one Logma location in a territory.
